Distil-IT Pride of the blender

The bottling segment comprises about —- % of the Alcobev industry in India. Typically, a bottling company procures alcohol (spirit) and other ingredients and blends them in the prescribed proportion to produce the alcoholic beverage. It entails a complex process of procurement, storage, movement, processing (manufacturing), packaging, storage of finished product, marketing and dispatch.
SAPL has developed Distil-IT, an ERP solution specifically for the bottler/ manufacturer to manage all the above functions. Since the solutions is designed exclusively for this segment, it has features for ‘batch’, ‘blend’ and ‘tank’ management, besides all other accounting and administrative functionalities.

Features

Batch

Tracks all details of a batch including which brand, tank, what quantity and the status at any given point

Storage

maps the storage of material at every stage from spirit storage and blending tanks, to storage of raw material, finished goods and packing material.

Finished Goods Details

Maintains details of batch output of the finished product

Entries ( Transactions)

This mini ERP captures all entries relating to sales transactions, invoices and other accounting entries

Reports

On entering relevant input data the feature generates a range of reports including those related to manufacturing, sales, accounting, excise and more.

Bill of Material

Calculates volumes and value of all raw material required for the manufacture

Packing Material Issue

Calculates quantity of required packing material from the BOM and passes the entry for issue

Blending Process

Generates automated requisition for raw material required for a certain blend and includes calculation of process losses or racking.

Raw & Packing Material

Records purchase and storage details of raw material as well as packing material. Spirit and ENA stocks can be differentiated on the basis of strength

The Technology

The ERP solution uses the Windows Environment, Dot Net framework and C# and MS-SQL database.
